Santa Claus is coming to town!
Once Upon a Time...
Lititz, America’s Coolest Small Town, once had a Santa House where children could visit Santa Claus and share their holiday wishes each year.
After many years of use, the little house eventually fell into disrepair. For too long now, the children of Lititz haven’t had a special place downtown to visit with Santa.
Santa’s House is Coming Back
Thanks to a generous grant from LRCDC, that tradition is returning to Lititz. A new Santa House will once again bring holiday magic to children and families.
The new 10’ x 12’ structure will include:
An accessible front entrance and side exit to help visits move smoothly
A peaked roofline with a custom Dutch door and round porthole window featuring a Moravian Star
White vinyl siding with a red standing seam metal roof for a timeless holiday look
Two front windows, possibly with flower boxes for greenery or seasonal decorations
A custom steel reindeer weathervane, celebrating our Lancaster County farmland roots
Inside the House
The interior will be insulated and warmed with an electric fireplace. A three-seat sofa will welcome Santa, Mrs. Claus, and several children at a time, while a decorated Christmas tree brightens the space.
Outside, a new mailbox will collect letters to Santa whenever the house is closed.

Thank You
The Lititz Springs Park Board is deeply grateful to LRCDC for making this project possible. We’re excited to bring back some Lititz holiday magic downtown this year, and we hope the Santa House will continue creating memories for generations to come.
How You Can Help
The building is complete, but we’d love to add some finishing touches before December to make it even more magical.
